Although the otherranch animals are wonderful too, Stagner has developed a deeper bond with goats. Having to say goodbye to her animals that she has raised, has been the hardest day each year. Showing goats within the 4-H agricultural life program (a local youth development organization), Stagner had started when she was in 6th grade.Stagner loves competing in the Walter Gerlach program, which provides youth distinctive growth opportunities, “Walter Gerlach truly is the best little show in Texas! The judges and the exhibitors are always so kind and encouraging. Although Gerlach has some difficult goat competitions, it’s always fun to compete against your friends and win or lose to support each other! Gerlach by far will be the show and community I will miss the most while graduating!”Now a senior at O’Connor High School, Stagner has already been accepted into eleven different universities and her biggest prospects are Vanderbilt University, New York University, and Baylor University.continue his education in Agriculture.In the future, she will be saving lives as a trauma surgeon.
